Rollin’ Smoke BBQ

Rollin Smoke BBQ in Big Chimney has some really great tacos. Today I tried both the pulled pork and chicken tacos. The tortillas were soft and very filling. They have a special creamy salsa like sauce on them that just blends all the flavors together. The meat was flavorful and tender; both meats are great choices for tacos. Plus, two tacos are only 5!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The best BBQ I have ever had!! Staff is great and their food is ALWAYS AMAZING. The baked beans are one of my favorites. I haven't tried their pizzas yet but everything I've tried so far has been delicious!!! They now have a dine in area that they did not have a few years ago when I first discovered this place.

This local restaurant is a treasure! Right in the river, with indoor and outdoor eating space. The staff is friendly and FAST! Everything we had was delicious and the portions are large! Highly recommend checking this out if you're in the area!

Roommate and I decided to stop for dinner. Since his birthday is tomorrow, he decided he wanted barbecue. This is probably the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. I cannot recommend it enough. He got a rib platter, I got the Texas smoked brisket platter. Went back a year later, this time we both got the brisket. Still tasted absolutely awesome, but for some reason it was a little tougher than every other time I've visited.

One of the best experiences I have ever had at a food place. Very nice staff and well cooked food. The ribs were spot on and the chicken wings were cooked just right and I recommend the garlic parmesan sauce with the wings. My daughter loves the macaroni bowl with pulled pork. The service was very well. Everyone made sure I got exactly what I ordered and it was made right. Michael was our server and he did a great job at making sure that we understood everything and did a good job at explaining what comes with every meal. We were a little late coming in at 6, but they were nice enough to leave the place open for us to eat before they officially closed.

In my -month stay on the north side of Charelston I've hit Rolling Smoke, 4 or 5 times. Every time awesome, and affordable. The excellence of the brisket pizza was yet another pleasant surprise. I'll certainly be back for more pizza. Got the loaded baked with brisket. A lot of awesome for under 10. I'll add onions next time. Nice covered outdoor seating, a few tables have river views. I found Rollin Smoke BBQ by pure chance when I was passing thru Charleston, WV. I wanted some good BBQ (not from a chain), so I started looking outside of Charleston...and this came up. As you approach on the road and then walk inside, you know this is going to be a good local choice. It just has "that" look. The portion sizes (for the platters) are generous with a main and two sides. The pulled chicken was the juiciest that I've had in quite awhile; the brisket was tender and very well prepared. As for the sides (coleslaw, potato wedges, corn bread, potato salad)...they were all delicious. Now, lets talk about those sauces. There were four available, and I thought that the plain BBQ was pretty good. That being said, the other two sauces were much better (although I did not try the third sauces, which was the hottest of the sauces). Seating is available both inside and outside. The inside seating is very humble tables, with a magnificent view overlooking the river down below. I highly recommend stopping by and having some of the best BBQ.
